Together, we can…
Great news! The Village of Spring Hill has received non-profit status from the Internal Revenue Service with approval of our 501(c)(3) application. We would like to thank Congressman Jo Bonner for his help in expediting our response from the IRS. What does all of this mean? It means that as a nonprofit organization, all donations made are tax deductible.
Since the early 1800s when Mobilians retreated to Spring Hill to escape the summers or to later establish permanent residence, their community spirit has been strong. Encouraged by the emerging presence of Spring Hill College, they used their resources of time, money, and talent to weave the fabric of this special place which we enjoy today.
Our heritage is evident every day as we live, work and raise our families in this beautiful environment which has evolved over two centuries. However, once again we need to call on
our resources as a community to revitalize the beauty, safety and charm of our neighborhood.
The Village of Spring Hill, Inc. was established as a non-profit organization to facilitate what we the residents and businesses can do to foster the conservation of our area as it reflects distinctive features of the architectural, cultural, economic and social history of the City of Mobile. Our community spirit is alive as we work together to maintain our quality of life and our inheritance. Join your friends and neighbors and be a part of something exciting happening in Spring Hill.
