The Village of Spring Hill, Inc.
Dedicates Its First Pocket Park!

The park was made possible through the generosity of the community and is totally privately funded.  Regions Bank granted The Village of Spring Hill, Inc. use of the land for the park.  The J. L. Bedsole Foundation provided the seed money which initiated a successful fund raising campaign.

The park’s design, donated by Landscape Architect Terry Plauché, is in keeping with the history of Spring Hill and is an attractive complement to the improvements already in place.  The lights, pavers, benches and tree grates used in the park can be found elsewhere in Village streetscapes that have been implemented. This mini-park is designed to be an urban oasis---a place where people can stop to relax, eat a snack or visit with friends.
