The Village of Spring Hill in Mobile, Alabama

Village of Spring Hill Accomplishments...

•	Hiring of the highly respected Dover, Kohl & Partners, Inc. urban planning group who developed a wonderful new plan for the future dev elopement of the Village of Spring Hill.

•	Transportation Enhancement Grant from the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) and matching funds from the City of Mobile to fund neighborhood sidewalks down Old Shell Rd. at McGregor Ave. to University Blvd. more

•	Community planning grant from the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Development (ADECA)

•	Planting over 100 oak trees along the major corridors with help from Keep Mobile Beautiful

•	Annual clean-up days with participation from hundreds of residents, business owners, and other volunteers

Intersection work starts this Friday!
Work on the new crosswalks at Old Shell and McGregor begins this Friday and will continue for the next two weeks. See the schedule of intersection closing here.

Sidewalks--a step closer...
After two years the sidewalks are almost done! Soon you will be able to walk (or jog) from themain intersection all the way to University -- safely!
